By bus:

Bus numbers 15, 38, 49, 91, 670 and 760 all stop at the bus stop opposite the Bridge Inn, just 50 yards from Hollybush. If you are catching the bus from Leeds, some of these buses go from stands G8 on Eastgate, H9 on the Headrow, P1 on Park Row and W5 on Wellington Street.

Bus numbers 33, 33A and 757 all stop on Abbey Road, just after the junction with Bridge Road. If you are catching a bus from Leeds, these buses go from the Bus Station, stands V1 on New Market Street, Y10 on the Headrow, as well as the stands listed above. There is a short walk to Hollybush if alighting on Abbey Road. For bus times and details please visit www.wymetro.com

By train:

If travelling by train to Leeds, you can catch a connecting train to Headingley station. Trains that travel to Harrogate, Knaresborough or Poppleton usually call at Headingley, except GNER. Hollybush is a short walk from Headingley station. When exiting the station turn right and proceed all the way down the hill (Kirkstall Lane on the map below) to the major traffic junction, carry on straight across this junction, passing the BHS department store on your right. When you cross the bridge, Hollybush will be directly in front of you at the traffic lights. For train times and details please visit www.nationalrail.co.uk.

By car:

If coming from Leeds, take the A65 Kirkstall Road out of the city. Proceed for approximately 1.5 miles, until you pass a large leisure complex of cinemas and bars on your left hand side. Carry on for a further mile, until you come to a major crossroads. Take the left hand lane filter, sign-posted for the B6157 to Bradford, pass Morrisons on your left and carry on until you come to the bridge. Take the left-hand lane, and turn left at the next traffic lights. The entrance to the Hollybush car park is immediately on your right, down a narrow track.
From the motorway

Whether you are traveling from the North or the South, join the M621 from either the M62 or the M1. Leave the M621 at Junction 2, and take the road sign posted for Leeds City Centre. After a short dual carriageway you will come to a very large roundabout, keep in the left-hand lane, and take the second exit (sign posted A647 to Bradford). Proceed up this road, through a major traffic light junction, until you are again on a dual carriageway. As you go up the hill, move into the right hand lane, ready to turn right at the brow of the hill (sign posted for Kirkstall). Follow this road all the way down the hill, and over a narrow bridge. When you reach a traffic light T-junction Hollybush is just in front of you to the right. Turn right, but be careful not to miss the entrance to the Hollybush car park, which is LEFT just after approximately 2-3 metres. Ignore the big obvious straight ahead entrance, look for the gap between two stone walls.
