Activity description

FREE one hour group walk led by trained community volunteers. Beautiful woodland managed as local nature reserve - blankets of bluebells and wildflowers in the spring, heaps of fungi in the autumn, variety of trees, ancient ghyll. Can be uneven in places and can get muddy in winter, sturdy footwear advisable.

Site description

A gentle walk of an hour through beautiful mixed broadleaf woodland that has Local Nature Reserve status. Every Friday 10.30am, meet at Church in the Wood car park.
