Activity description

Help us carry out a day of ecological surveys across multiple species groups. You’ll gain experience with bee, butterfly, and reptile monitoring techniques, all while exploring a biodiverse site. Resources for ID will be provided and on site training provided so no experience required.

Davy Down consists of around 6-hectares of attractive landscape, nestled amongst large modern developments. As a part of the Mardyke Valley and Thames Chase Community Forest, the area provides a great opportunity to explore and enjoy the countryside on your doorstep, with links to Aveley and Bulphan along the Mardyke Way. br> br>The Land Trust in partnership with Essex & Suffolk Water
