Welcome to The Conservation Volunteers in Kent

Our work addresses the wider issues of encouraging personal development, building sustainable communities, reducing social exclusion and improving people's health. Our projects are open to anyone, whatever your background and interests.

Through our strong local partnerships and with over 50 years of experience, we have developed a collection of successful projects including diverse training opportunities, Green Gyms, a network of community warden schemes, and a range of practical activities.

In Spring 2011 we launched our five year Kent Heritage Tree Project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

We also operate The Singleton Environment Centre in Ashford in partnership with Ashford Borough Council.

Attention – all community groups!

Is there an area in your locality that you would like to see improved? Maybe plant some trees or clear litter or other practical tasks?

As part of our Kent Heritage Trees Project, The Conservation Volunteers is looking for suitable sites in Kent for community action days to improve our local environment.
