Learning Environmental And Volunteering Experiences
BTCV, through it's International Department, has received funding from the European Union's Lifelong Learning Leonardo programme for 'Mobility' projects. The programme started in June 2010 and runs for 24 months.
Mobility Project grants fund work placements for individuals supported by UK organisations to gain skills, personal development and work experience in another European country.
For BTCV, this funding has enabled us to create 32 learning opportunities for staff and key volunteers sharing experience with some of our European partners. All costs for individuals are covered including travel, accommodation, food and insurance.
