BTCV Cymru provides a tailored service to all clients on New Deal helping them to develop the necessary skills to find employment.

BTCV Cymru has 2 offices that are New Deal providers:

Everyone on New Deal has an in depth assessment at the start of their programme. This looks at their chosen career path, their skills and the potential barriers to employment, for example a Basic Skills, motivational or financial problem.

Each individual's New Deal programme is structured to help them become 'job ready' with intensive support to develop all the necessary personal and workplace skills to be a reliable and trustworthy employee.

Individuals complete placements with a range of organisations from charities to commercial businesses. Placements help individuals develop a broad range of skills and increase confidence - helping to overcome any barriers to maintaining consistent employment.

By the end of their programme, clients will have a range of workplace skills. They will also have had ongoing support to overcome motivational, timekeeping or confidence problems. Once they have completed their programme, individuals are not only ready to work, but have all they need to make valued contributions to the company they work for.
