Following a successful funding bid, TCV's Biodiversity Action Team are seeking a Senior Project Officer to join the team at Railway Fields Nature Reserve, Haringey.
The successful applicant will be in charge of planning and delivering practical nature conservation volunteering sessions on a range of sites across North London, with a specific focus on the London Borough of Brent. The usual work pattern will be 3 days of delivery and 2 days of planning/reporting.
The Senior Project Officer will be recruiting and managing volunteers, managing relationships with stakeholders and local authorities, reporting on outcomes, looking for new project opportunities, quoting for work and managing TCV resources and equipment.
The ideal candidate would have a wide range of practical skills including habitat management and small scale construction, experience of leading volunteer teams, project management skills, experience of dealing with customers and suppliers as well as having a solid grounding in urban nature conservation.
