Volunteers are integral to all aspects of our operations and this post promotes TCV's volunteering opportunities across Northern Ireland, to recruit new volunteers and maintain volunteer numbers on an ongoing basis. The role will work with local TCV offices to promote seasonal volunteering opportunities. The main activities of the role are:
- Recruiting volunteers for practical conservation projects and work on NIEA funded nature reserves and country parks.
- Attending public and key partner events across Northern Ireland to promote TCV and volunteering opportunities.
- Distributing promotional leaflets to public locations such as council venues and Jobs and Benefit offices.
- Planning and uploading content to TCV's social media platforms and website.
- Track effectiveness of communication and promotion methods.
- Design and produce documents using Microsoft Office and other applications, i.e. Canva, to promote volunteering.
- Support local operational colleagues in the welcome and induction of new volunteers.
Experience
Previous experience in promotional work, marketing, and social media would be desirable.

A full, clean or near clean UK driving licence is required for this post, which has been held for a minimum of one year.
