This role leads the HR service provision throughout TCV. The role holder is responsible for the delivery of the annual People Plan, working in partnership with TCV Leaders, external stakeholders and colleagues across the organisation
The post holder will effectively organise and manage the team and their resources to achieve TCV's goals, creating an environment where people can do their best every day.
The People Services Manager is also responsible for driving initiatives such as Equality Diversity & Inclusion, Reward & Recognition, Learning & Development, and employee engagement as well as business as usual HR service provision. The payroll function also reports to the People Services Manager.
As People Services Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the people and organisational aspects of our Transformation Programme, covering organisational design and HR / IT / Finance systems replacement whilst developing a culture of business partnering the wider organisation.
Developing our Learning & Development offer, ensuring policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant, extending our current induction and onboarding process for new starters and new line managers, establishing a suite of management information for reporting to the Leadership Team, Board of Trustees and various committees, are some of the varied projects this role would cover, well suited to a generalist HR professional who is qualified to CIPD Level 7.
Previous experience of line managing a small, high performing HR team (and Payroll, where possible) is essential.
Prior use of the Cezanne HR system is desirable, but not essential.
A full driving licence is not required, however travel to TCV offices across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland may be required on occasion.
To fulfil the role, you must be resident in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
