Project & Governance Administrator

Location: Home Based / Hybrid

Salary: £15,286 per annum (FTE £25,477)

Hours: 21 per week (part time)

Contract Type: Permanent

Apply by 8th June 2026

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and discreet Project & Governance Administrator to provide high quality administrative support within TCV's developing Project Management Office, and to support the CEO, Leadership Team, Board of Trustees and key governance meetings.

This is an administration role with a strong focus on meeting organisation, document control, accurate records and follow-up. You will work closely with the Programme Manager and Project & Governance Co-ordinator to provide administrative support that helps leadership, governance and PMO routines run smoothly.

The role will include arranging and scheduling meetings, resolving diary clashes, preparing agendas, collating and distributing papers, producing accurate minutes, maintaining action logs, and following up agreed actions so that decisions and commitments are clearly recorded and progressed. This will cover Leadership Team meetings, Board and Sub-Committee meetings, PMO meetings and other project or governance forums.

You will also provide administrative support to project management reporting processes. This may include maintaining SharePoint workspaces, filing and version-controlling project documents, updating simple trackers, supporting meeting packs, and helping the Project & Governance Co-ordinator keep project reporting routines organised and consistent.

A further part of the role will be supporting annual meeting cycles and key governance activity. This includes helping to co-ordinate Board and Committee packs, liaising with trustees, and other key stakeholders, and escalating queries to the Project & Governance Co-ordinator or Programme Manager when needed.

The postholder may also help with practical administration such as arranging travel, supporting internal events, preparing for visits, welcoming visitors, and helping colleagues plan briefings, meetings or conferences. The role will involve regular contact with senior leaders, trustees, committee members and colleagues across TCV, so strong communication, judgement, confidentiality and professionalism are essential.

This role would suit someone with excellent administration and co-ordination skills, strong Microsoft Office and SharePoint capability, and experience in senior-level administration, governance support, committee servicing, project administration or a similar environment. Experience of working in a charity, governance or PMO setting would be helpful.

There is flexibility around the location of this role. The role is hybrid/home based, with some UK-wide travel where required. Our Head Office is in Doncaster.
