With Tree Nursery Volunteers
At Cultra
Join us for a volunteering taster session at our site in the Ulster Folk Museum, Cultra! This introductory session is aimed at people who are new to volunteering with the Tree Nursery and want to give it a try to see what it's like to volunteer with us. You'll join us for a tour of our site and will spend some time completing seasonal Tree Nursery tasks. Here at the Tree Nursery, we are always looking for volunteers to help us deliver our mission in helping Northern Irelands native woodlands. The vital conservation work we carry out would be impossible without you. So, if you like the sound of getting a bit mucky and having fun, all while doing good for the environment then this is the place for you! *Please email tcv-treenursery@tcv.org.uk to book a space.

With York Practical Conservation - Weekend
At TCV York Office (THCC)
We run practical conservation tasks in various locations in York and the surrounding area from 10am-4.30pm on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. Transport is provided from Tang Hall Community Centre and the University Library bus stop on University Road. No experience necessary. The work varies from season to season. In winter you could be tree planting, hedge laying, or creating and maintaining ponds and wetlands; whilst in summer you could be constructing wildlife areas in schools, creating footpaths, making hay, or undertaking invasive species control. If you want to get involved in practical work outdoors, learn new skills (or share old ones!) and work with a fun and friendly group then come and join in.
