Collect your free East Village Spring Nature Trail leaflet from either Bakehouse by Signorelli, or Signorelli's Cafe on Victory Parade, and follow the trail marked on the map to find eight animal picture clues. There are two activities/ puzzles to solve - one for younger children and one for older children (and helping adults!) If you take a completed nature trail leaflet back to Signorelli's Cafe or Bakehouse, you can receive a free nature-inspired cookie (until stocks run out!!)

With help from 'The Friends of Skelton Grange', our Easter Good Friday event is a glorious outdoor trail wandering through the woods and gardens at Skelton Grange. Complete a treasure hunt along the way and trade in your trove for a chocolatey Easter surprise at the end! The event is a fundraiser for the Centre, but also a great chance for families to enjoy some Easter fun! The Skelton Cafe will be open to buy hot drinks and sweet treats at the end. Tickets are required for all children attending the event, but babies (18 months or under) are welcome free. Adults do not require a ticket if they are accompanied by a child or children. Tickets are £8 per child (plus Eventbrite booking fee). Choose your timeslot between 11am and 1pm.

Join us for this family friendly volunteering opportunity in Hull Road Park. On Wild Fridays we aim to improve the park for wildlife by creating new nature homes, planting wildflowers, eco crafting, conducting wildlife surveys and more! Most recently we have created an insect hotel, made bumble bee homes and sown wild meadow seed. This relaxed, informal session is great for those wanting to make a difference, meet new people and get outside. The group is diverse open to additional needs and dementia friendly. During our break volunteers can enjoy snacks and hot drinks provided free of charge from the Choose2cafe (if you have any dietary requirements please contact before attending). Do as little or as much as you like, and stay for as long as you wish! Please contact the office for more details. We look forward to meeting you.

At Ley Hill Green Gym
Grow your own food and make new friends at our lovely garden opposite Holloway Hall Community Centre. We meet at Ley Hill every Monday to do some gentle gardening work and sow, grow, and enjoy tasty fresh produce. There are numerous fruit shrubs here which leads to some tasty jams and deserts in the late summer. Our sites have raised beds which are accessible and manageable. We also have a number of benches within the garden where you can enjoy your brew and listen to bird song.

Join us and get outdoors in 2025! We meet at West Heath every Tuesday to do some gentle gardening work at the Community Garden here. No gardening experience is necessary as we will tell you everything you need to know. We provide tools and gloves. Please wear suitable clothes and shoes - we work outdoors for three hours in all weather conditions. This site is wheelchair accessible and consists of raised beds at various heights.

Set up camp for a day of wildness in the woods at TCV Skelton Grange... Activities will vary from session to session depending on the season and the group - but past Wild Play days have included: Wide games, shelter building, fire lighting, campfire cooking, field games, hammock hanging, wild food walks, woodwork crafts, string making, bows and arrows, stalking and tracking, pyro-carving and charcoal making. The cost per child is £33.60 (+ Eventbrite fee) and includes a day of outdoor games and bushcraft activities led by experienced leaders. Sessions run from 10am - 4pm. Please bring a packed lunch for the day.
