At Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park
End the summer with a home-made bracelet you can share with your best friend! We'll show you different techniques to weave your own bracelets. Sessions run on a drop-in basis; they are free and no booking is required. These sessions will take place indoors, in our classroom, from 11am-12pm and 2-3pm. Ask at the gatehouse for directions. Stick around in the Ecology Park and complete the quiz or younger children's trail to learn about nature and art and win a prize.

At Hull Road Park
Join us for this family friendly volunteering opportunity in Hull Road Park. On Wild Fridays we aim to improve the park for wildlife by creating new nature homes, planting wildflowers, eco crafting, conducting wildlife surveys and more! Most recently we have created an insect hotel, made bumble bee homes and sown wild meadow seed. This relaxed, informal session is great for those wanting to make a difference, meet new people and get outside. The group is diverse open to additional needs and dementia friendly. During our break volunteers can enjoy snacks and hot drinks provided free of charge from the Choose2cafe (if you have any dietary requirements please contact before attending). Do as little or as much as you like, and stay for as long as you wish! Please contact the office for more details. We look forward to meeting you.

Using natural leaves and flowers, weâll be making beautiful hammered leaf prints â a simple but striking craft where you press real plants onto fabric or paper using a hammer, revealing their natural pigments and patterns. At Ley Hill Green Gym
Grow your own food and make new friends at our lovely garden opposite Holloway Hall Community Centre. We meet at Ley Hill every Monday to do some gentle gardening work and sow, grow, and enjoy tasty fresh produce. There are numerous fruit shrubs here which leads to some tasty jams and deserts in the late summer. Our sites have raised beds which are accessible and manageable. We also have a number of benches within the garden where you can enjoy your brew and listen to bird song.

Join us and get outdoors in 2025! We meet at West Heath every Tuesday to do some gentle gardening work at the Community Garden here. No gardening experience is necessary as we will tell you everything you need to know. We provide tools and gloves. Please wear suitable clothes and shoes - we work outdoors for three hours in all weather conditions. This site is wheelchair accessible and consists of raised beds at various heights.

At Milebrook Hall
Join us in the garden at Milebrrok Hall for a couple of hours of relaxed conversation and food growing. We have a greenhouse here to enable us to start the growing season off early. There are also a couple of raised beds which are readily accessible and easy to manage. This session coincides with the coffee morning too, so a warm brew is never far away. All tools and gloves etc are provided for you.

At Skelton Grange Environment Centre
Join us for our fun-filled Open Day on Saturday 6th September! Help us squeeze the last drops of sunshine out of the summer! Come along and play, explore the site, have a go at natural crafts. There will be tree identification walks as well as craft activities for all ages. Circus Leeds will be here sharing exciting circus skills, and there will be woodland play and outdoor games. The cafe will be open, selling home made cakes and savoury treats, or enjoy a pizza from our wood-fired pizza oven. There will be vegan and gluten-free options available. Entry is free but we'd love you to enjoy a snack in our cafe, explore the site, or simply make a donation - all the funds raised will support the charitable work of The Conservation Volunteers at Skelton Grange Environment Centre.
