Here at the Tree Nursery, we are always looking for volunteers to help us deliver our mission in helping Northern Irelands native woodlands. The vital conservation work we carry out would be impossible without you. So, if you like the sound of getting a bit mucky and having fun, all while doing good for the environment then this is the place for you!     Join The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) to enhance the biodiversity of Glasgow’s many fantastic parks and greenspaces. Help care for the local woodlands and wildlife areas, plant trees and hedges, create wildflower meadows, clear invasive plant species, and much more! Conservation volunteering is a great opportunity to make a difference for nature and to combat climate change. TCV projects run daily from Tuesday – Saturday, approximately 10am – 2pm, with city centre pick-ups and drop-offs. There’s no minimum commitment – just join in when you can. Let’s make Glasgow greener together! We work in various sites across Glasgow. Details of upcoming sessions are emailed out each Friday.     Wildlife Surveys @ the Paddock

    Join our wildlife surveys in 2026! The event is for anyone who is interested in learning about nature, wildlife and their local greenspace. Beginners always welcome. Please book a place on Eventbrite. 10am – 11am is our weekly bird survey 11:15am – 12:15pm is often a second wildlife survey. Second survey do not run every Friday in Autumn/Winter so please check Eventbrite for details. This may be wildflowers, pond creatures, butterflies, bumblebees or more depending on the time of year.

    As part of a project improving the walkways along the river Mersey, we will be improving habitats at Sale water Park. You do not need any prior experience. Skills you'll learn: -Hedge laying -Coppicing -Woodland management -Tree felling (small <200mm) -Fence Installation Sessions will run 10am - 2pm, but there is no obligation to stay for the whole day.
