Women’s Nature Wellbeing Club is starting 2026 with a beautifully mindful activity to help you set the tone for the year ahead. Join us to create a nature-inspired vision board, using the elements around us to spark intention, clarity, and creativity for the months to come. Join our wildlife surveys in 2026! The event is for anyone who is interested in learning about nature, wildlife and their local greenspace. Beginners always welcome. Please book a place on Eventbrite. 10am – 11am is our weekly bird survey 11:15am – 12:15pm is often a second wildlife survey. Second survey do not run every Friday in Autumn/Winter so please check Eventbrite for details. This may be wildflowers, pond creatures, butterflies, bumblebees or more depending on the time of year.

As part of a project improving the walkways along the river Mersey, we will be improving habitats at Sale water Park. You do not need any prior experience. Skills you'll learn: -Hedge laying -Coppicing -Woodland management -Tree felling (small <200mm) -Fence Installation Sessions will run 10am - 2pm, but there is no obligation to stay for the whole day.

Wild Fridays

Activity description
Join us for this family friendly volunteering opportunity in Hull Road Park. On Wild Fridays we aim to improve the park for wildlife by creating new nature homes, planting wildflowers, eco crafting, conducting wildlife surveys and more! Most recently we have created an insect hotel, made bumble bee homes and sown wild meadow seed. This relaxed, informal session is great for those wanting to make a difference, meet new people and get outside. The group is diverse open to additional needs and dementia friendly. During our break volunteers can enjoy snacks and hot drinks provided free of charge from the Choose2cafe (if you have any dietary requirements please contact before attending). Do as little or as much as you like, and stay for as long as you wish! Please contact the office for more details. We look forward to meeting you.
