Activity description
The Merseyside Midweek volunteer group operates across the Liverpool, Wirral, Cheshire West, Sefton and West Lancashire region. We pickup in the minibus at 9:30am in Liverpool City Centre every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - driving from there to site to deliver environmental contracts.

Practical Conservation Projects

Activity description
We run practical conservation tasks in various locations in Hull and the surrounding area from 9am-4pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week. Transport provided from TCV Humber field office. No experience necessary. The work varies from season to season. In winter you could be tree planting, hedge laying, or creating and maintaining ponds and wetlands; whilst in summer you could be constructing wildlife areas in schools, creating footpaths, making hay, or undertaking invasive species control. If you want to get involved in practical work outdoors, learn new skills (or share old ones!) and work with a fun and friendly group then come and join in.

Activity description
We will be doing a variety of tasks throughout the duration of the project which include; improving the biodiversity of the site, regular wildlife surveys, site maintenance, mapping, improving the grounds, planning and research. There will be soup provided at lunch break, but you can still bring your own food if you wish. Please come in weather appropriate clothing. The Forth Valley Biodiversity Action Team undertake various practical conservation tasks and improve green spaces across Falkirk and Stirling. Activities include woodland management, pond clearance, maintaining paths and sowing wildflower seeds. We are dedicated to enhancing biodiversity through a range of activities from woodland management, creating habitats, eradicating invasive species, sowing wildflower seeds and community garden work. Volunteering is a great way to gain new skills and an opportunity to meet new people from a range of backgrounds. Come and join us to help care for the environment, meet new people and spend some time in the great outdoors!

EPIC Volunteers take on practical conservation activities across Clackmannanshire. We help look after our path network, make our greenspaces better for wildlife through biodiversity improvements and support community groups in the Wee County.
