At Sale Water Park
As part of a project improving the walkways along the river Mersey, we will be improving habitats at Sale water Park. You do not need any prior experience. Skills you'll learn: -Hedge laying -Coppicing -Woodland management -Tree felling (small <200mm) -Fence Installation Sessions will run 10am - 2pm, but there is no obligation to stay for the whole day.

At Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park
Join our Saturday conservation workdays at the Ecology Park and help the wardens carry out vital management work in the park's different habitats - marsh, meadow, lakes, ponds, shingle beach and woodland. Places are limited to 10 on a Saturday, so you will need to book in advance by emailing gpep@tcv.org.uk The first time you volunteer, we will ask you to fill out a TCV Volunteer Welfare Form (or we can email this to you in advance if you prefer). You will be working as part of a volunteer team with the park wardens, carrying out tasks such as pond clearing, reed cutting, meadow cutting, coppicing (cutting smaller tree stems), digging and weeding.

With a bit of luck, by the end of the session weâll have curated our own collection of small treasures found along the Thamesâan inspiring way to connect with nature and encourage others to nurture their wellbeing. Be part of something meaningful and book your spot today. If youâre 18 or over and interested in learning more about mental health, building practical wellbeing tools, and connecting with a supportive community, this club could be the perfect space for you. This session is free, but booking is essential as only 12 spaces are available.
