    Wild Fridays

    With Hull Road Park Project

    At Hull Road Park

    Activity description

Join us for this family friendly volunteering opportunity in Hull Road Park. On Wild Fridays we aim to improve the park for wildlife by creating new nature homes, planting wildflowers, eco crafting, conducting wildlife surveys and more! Most recently we have created an insect hotel, made bumble bee homes and sown wild meadow seed. This relaxed, informal session is great for those wanting to make a difference, meet new people and get outside. The group is diverse open to additional needs and dementia friendly. During our break volunteers can enjoy snacks and hot drinks provided free of charge from the Choose2cafe (if you have any dietary requirements please contact before attending). Do as little or as much as you like, and stay for as long as you wish! Please contact the office for more details. We look forward to meeting you.

Our Livingston Wild Ways Well group meets every Friday afternoon for a gentle wellbeing walk around Ladywell and the surrounding areas. This is a gentle walk, not a hike! As we go we take notice of the nature around us, learn how to name the trees and plants and about the wildlife that shares the space with us. Afterwards we go to the Ladywell Neighbourhood House for a hot drink and a chat.
