Skull, ribs, spine, and limbs, you'll design your very own prehistoric creature using a variety of pasta shapes. We'll provide plenty of dinosaur pictures for inspiration and help you learn about these fascinating animals, including how their skeletons are similar to - and different from - our own. Take your finished masterpiece home as a memento of your dinosaur adventure! Sessions run on a drop-in basis; they are free and no booking is required. These sessions will take place indoors, in our classroom, from 11am-12pm and 2-3pm. Ask at the gatehouse for directions. Stick around in the park and complete the quiz or the younger children’s trail to learn even more about dinosaurs.

About 29.7 miles away from your postcode

    At Sundon National Grid (Chalton)

    Activity description

We have just started a new long term project at this brilliant little site, to improve biodiversity. As we're in the early stages, our first few months are concentrating on recording what's on site now, and keeping on top of the plant species that would otherwise take over - mainly thistles. So our sessions are a mix of scything, raking, and walking over the site to survey what's there. Something for everyone!
