With Rowheath Pavilion Green Gym
At Rowheath Pavillion
Join us every Friday as we live the Good Life by sowing, growing, and harvesting our own food. Feel the thrill of uncovering tasty potatoes, parsnips, and carrots. Enjoy the taste of freshly picked peas and savour those fabulous strawberries. It doesn't get better than this. We have a growing space with accessible raised beds right next to the pavilion building. All tools and equipment are provided. We also go for a nature walk around Rowheath Park whilst we immerse ourselves in the sights and sounds that this valuable green space has to offer. Bird ID walks are also undertaken along with traditional conservation activities.

With Rowheath Pavilion Green Gym
At Rowheath Pavillion
May the force (of nature) be with you. Amaze your friends and family by being able to identify birds by their call alone. Become a local hero as you gain confidence and expand your knowledge. Join us for a relaxed circuit of Rowheath Park whilst we ID birds by song and sight. The site has meadows, mature hedgerow, and a large pool with a diverse variety of birds and other wildlife. The walking route is wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Look out for our dawn chorus walks in April and May!

As we go we take notice of the nature around us, learn how to name the trees and plants and about the wildlife that shares the space with us. Afterwards we go to the Ladywell Neighbourhood House for a hot drink and a chat.
