At Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park
Let's recycle paper and turn it into a beautiful wall decoration! You'll go home with a cardboard artwork covered in paper butterflies. Sessions run on a drop-in basis; they are free and no booking is required. These sessions will take place indoors, in our classroom, from 11am-12pm and 2-3pm. Ask at the gatehouse for directions. Stick around in the Ecology Park and complete the quiz or younger children's trail to learn more about recycling in nature and win a prize.

With Hull Road Park Project
At Hull Road Park
Join us for this family friendly volunteering opportunity in Hull Road Park. On Wild Fridays we aim to improve the park for wildlife by creating new nature homes, planting wildflowers, eco crafting, conducting wildlife surveys and more! Most recently we have created an insect hotel, made bumble bee homes and sown wild meadow seed. This relaxed, informal session is great for those wanting to make a difference, meet new people and get outside. The group is diverse open to additional needs and dementia friendly. During our break volunteers can enjoy snacks and hot drinks provided free of charge from the Choose2cafe (if you have any dietary requirements please contact before attending). Do as little or as much as you like, and stay for as long as you wish! Please contact the office for more details. We look forward to meeting you.

With Skelton Grange Environment Centre
At Skelton Grange Environment Centre
Come and join us for a day of fun in the woods! We will play games, do fun challenges and learn some skills based around the core bushcraft skills of nature study, shelter, fire, tool use and food. The activities are planned to create lots of opportunities for you to have fun, play together and make memories with your child(ren). This session is suitable for children aged 5-11 and their grown up. Maximum of 3 children to one adult. Each attendee needs a ticket for this event. Session runs from 10am - 4pm. Please bring a packed lunch for the day. Tckets are £20 (+Eventbrite fee) per person.

With Skelton Grange Environment Centre
At Skelton Grange Environment Centre
Set up camp for a day of wildness in the woods at TCV Skelton Grange... Activities will vary from session to session depending on the season and the group - but past Wild Play days have included: Wide games, shelter building, fire lighting, campfire cooking, field games, hammock hanging, wild food walks, woodwork crafts, string making, bows and arrows, stalking and tracking, pyro-carving and charcoal making. The cost per child is £36 and includes a day of outdoor games and bushcraft activities led by experienced leaders. Sessions run from 10am - 4pm. Please bring a packed lunch for the day.

With Milebrook Hall Food Growing
At Milebrook Hall
Join us in the garden at Milebrrok Hall for a couple of hours of relaxed conversation and food growing. We have a greenhouse here to enable us to start the growing season off early. There are also a couple of raised beds which are readily accessible and easy to manage. This session coincides with the coffee morning too, so a warm brew is never far away. All tools and gloves etc are provided for you.
