Here at the Tree Nursery, we are always looking for volunteers to help us deliver our mission of protecting and increasing Northern Ireland's natural woodland by growing native trees from seed. Alongside this we will be helping to create a Folklore Trail that will educate through nature, for continued learning and growing. Put your green fingers to the test and join our volunteering sessions for just a few hours a week! By coming to the Tree Nursery, you will be gaining valuable knowledge and experience working alongside us, as well as actively participating in conservation activities. So, if you like the sound of getting a bit mucky and having some fun while doing good for the environment, then this is the place for you! Why not come along to one of our sessions, which will provide you with a briefing of what the volunteering involves and give you a chance to get to know a bit more about the Tree Nursery and our fantastic team! Join us for a volunteering taster session at our Tree Nursery based in the Ulster Folk Museum, Cultra! This introductory session is aimed at people who are new to volunteering with the Tree Nursery and want to give it a try to see what it's like to volunteer with us. We will complete seasonal Tree Nursery tasks and will join our regular volunteers for our tea break at 11am. Volunteering must be prebooked by emailing us, unfortunately we can't accept anyone who has not been in contact on this site. Hope to meet you soon!
