    Every 4th Wednesday of the month. Join our friendly team of staff and volunteers helping to carry out a range of practical conservation and woodland management tasks. We work together to help maintain Bentley Community Woodlands an area on the edge of Doncaster packed with wildlife and places to explore. Taking part you'll learn new skills, improve your health and wellbeing and make new friends. You don't need any experience or need to be especially fit, just expect to be outdoors working with our fantastic natural environment. Additional Woodland Workout sessions take place in different woodlands and parks throughout South Yorkshire; they are run by The Conservation Volunteers and Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council.     In addition to our regular Monday Green Gym sessions and Friday Conservation Volunteering days, Friends of Skelton Grange offer Saturday conservation volunteering days for you to come down and meet our friendly groups and see what we do! We welcome new volunteers at all times. There are lots of practical opportunities for people to get involved in volunteering at Skelton Grange. We will be finishing some of the woodland work we have been doing this year, including tree planting, fruit tree pruning and working on our new green woodwork area! Please arrive from 11 am for cup of tea - tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided but please bring a packed lunch. Wear old clothes that you don't mind getting mucky, and dress for the weather. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult for all events.
