Activity description
We run practical conservation tasks in various locations in York and the surrounding area from 9am-4pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week. Transport provided from York city centre. No experience necessary.
The work varies from season to season. In winter you could be tree planting, hedge laying, or creating and maintaining ponds and wetlands; whilst in summer you could be constructing wildlife areas in schools, creating footpaths, making hay, or undertaking invasive species control.
If you want to get involved in practical work outdoors, learn new skills (or share old ones!) and work with a fun and friendly group then come and join in.
