We return to Brockwell Park to continue with our ongoing programme of works on the newly planted / laid hedgerow. Today we will be going to the very starting point of our new hedgerow, by the 2nd entrance to the park on Brockwell Park Gardens, and working our way along the new hedge clearing invasive vegetation, gapping up where needed and watering all the new trees too if needed.

Learn to ID local butterflies at our weekly survey at The Paddock. All levels and families are welcome. We invite you to join us at the Paddock for our weekly survey in 2024! Whether you are an expert or complete beginner this will be a chance to get outdoors and explore the wildlife on your doorstep. What to expect: - A short talk on local butterfly species ID topic each week. - A guided transect survey of the site. -The data collected will help us develop the Paddock into a Local Nature Reserve and increase biodiversity. - By booking onto multiple sessions youâââ‰â¢ll gain a deeper understanding of seasonal cycles, and improve your I.D. skills.
