A Potato Day is an event where you can buy a wide variety of seed potatoes, which have been sourced from specialist suppliers. Potatoes are sold individually, so you’re not restricted to growing a lot of one type as you would be if you were buying from a shop or seed company.

Every Monday the Wildlife Walkers gather to take a walk in one of the wonderful parks and nature reserves of Leeds. The walks aim to be accessible for a range of abilities, with regular routes planned to include at least one wheelchair accessible option a month. The group includes plenty of time to appreciate and identify nature along the way. The routes are usually between 1 and 2 miles, with a cup of tea and a snack provided along the way.

This group meets every Wednesday afternoon to take carer of the Wildlife gardens and conservation areas in the grounds of Hollybush Conservation Centre, to increase the biodiversity of the site. A variety of management techniques used including growing plants from seed & propagation, and planting and providing homes for wildlife.
