Every Monday the Wildlife Walkers gather to take a walk in one of the wonderful parks and nature reserves of Leeds. The walks aim to be accessible for a range of abilities, with regular routes planned to include at least one wheelchair accessible option a month. The group includes plenty of time to appreciate and identify nature along the way. The routes are usually between 1 and 2 miles, with a cup of tea and a snack provided along the way.

This course runs on Mondays for 5 weeks from 21st September to 19th October 2026 from 10.00am to 2:30pm. <br>The course is aimed at people with or without gardening experience, who want to learn more about greening their spaces and growing plants. No garden space necessary, if all you have is a windowsill or table then we can still teach you the tips and tricks of growing and caring for a wide variety of plants.<br> <br>This course is FREE if you are in receipt of certain income related benefits; work full-time (37hrs a week) and earn below £26,800 or part-time and earn less than £13.85 per hour; It is £30 for those in receipt of state pension. Otherwise contact us for course fees. This is a five week course which runs every Monday from 14th September to 12th October 2026 from 10.00am to 4.00pm.<br>Health and Wellbeing courses are designed to help you to improve or take care of your physical and/or mental health and wellbeing. <br>This hands-on course is all about using creativity to boost wellbeing, tackle feelings of isolation, and support mental health. You'll learn practical woodwork skills that you can use in everyday life - no experience needed! Whether you're a complete beginner or just want to refresh your skills, you'll get to safely use common hand tools, measure wood accurately for simple projects, create basic joints and fixings. It's a relaxed and supportive environment where you can learn new skills, meet others, and enjoy the process of making a planter and a small bench with your hands.<br> <br>This course is FREE if you are in receipt of certain income related benefits; work full-time (37hrs a week) and earn below £26,800 or work part-time and earn below £13.85 per hour; It is £37.50 for those in receipt of state pension.
