    Himalayan Balsam pulling

    With Biodiversity Action Team: Eastleigh

About 4.7 miles away from your postcode

    At Lakeside Country Park

    Activity description

We're returning to the beautiful Monks Brook to clear the non-native and invasive Himalayan Balsam. If left uncontrolled it will out compete all our native stream bank flora and can result in increased localized flooding. By donning our wellingtons and waders we will clear along the stream banks and give native plants the chance to flourish.
