We invite you to join us at the Paddock for our weekly bird survey in 2024! Whether you are an expert or complete beginner this will be a chance to get outdoors and explore the wildlife on your doorstep. Exciting new development for the Park in 2024! We will be working with LB Lambeth and the Friends of Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens to install a biodiversity garden in an underused corner of the park. Firstly we will be installing recycled plastic revetment to protect existing structures, then we will be bringing in many tons of topsoil to create a series of mounded, flowing planting beds throughout the garden. We will be mulching the beds areas and then installing landscape edging around them. For the final part of our Phase 1 works we will be installing new topsoil and turf throughout the central lawn area of the garden, and planting a diverse range of flowering plants and shrubs in the beds to attract wildlife.
