Activity description

We return to the wildlife Garden near the Barbican to undertake the annual scything of the wildflower meadow. We will also be removing the self set blackthorns from the meadow with our trusty tree popper!

Meeting place

On site from 10.00am. The entrance to the garden is at the bottom of the concrete ramp down to the car park, just behind Blake Tower.

Site description

A small and beautiful nature garden for the residents of the surrounding Barbican estates, built on the the rubble of a WWII bomb site. The garden includes ponds and meadow areas and runs regular volunteering and community events.
