This month's training is all about ponds - we will learn about the variety of life we find in ponds, how and why we need to look after this habitat, and we’ll get stuck into some practical pond work! Everyone welcome, no experience necessary.

Clayton Vale is located in East Manchester close to the City of Manchester Stadium and is a green space of around 100 acres. It was reclaimed from land fill by Manchester City Council in the early 1980's and forms a valley with the river Medlock running along its base. br>The area was designated a Local Nature Reserve in July 2006.
