Join in for a session of nature conservation and habitat management activities. The Green Gym is a unique way to get fit, transform the environment, meet new people and learn new skills. Each session includes a range of activities, designed to suit all abilities. We provide hot drinks and other refreshments during the tea break.
Exit Archway Underground Station and turn left up Highgate Hill. Turn second left Magdalena Avenue, and up right to second entrance to park. Alternatively, take bus 271, 143, 210. Exit bus at Highgate Hill stop, turn left onto Dartmouth Park Hill, heading downhill to the South. Waterlow Park is the largest park managed by Camden council and is set on a hillside in Highgate boasting some of the best panoramic views over London. br> br>Left by Sydney Waterlow as a 'garden for the gardenless', Waterlow Park retained its green flag status in 2008. br> br>The park is home to much wildlife, including hedgehogs, woodpeckers and bats. Within the grounds, there is a dedicated wildlife area used for education and maintained with the help of volunteers.
