An activity with Camden Green Gym

Join in for a session of nature conservation and habitat management activities. The Green Gym is a unique way to get fit, transform the environment, meet new people and learn new skills. Each session includes a range of activities, designed to suit all abilities. We provide hot drinks and other refreshments during the tea break.
From Archway Underground Station turn left up Highgate Hill, then second left Magdalena Avenue, follow to end of road and turn right on Dartmouth Park Hill. Continue up hill and take the second entrance to park. Alternatively, take bus 271, 143, 210. Exit bus at Waterlow Park/Lauderdale house stop (bus stop HS), turn left onto Dartmouth Park Hill, heading downhill to the South. Take the second entrance on the right into Waterlow Park and meet by the Lodge (N19 5JF). We work at a few different areas in Holly Lodge (N6 6PJ).
Holly Lodge Estate, Swains Lane- Oakeshott Ave, N6 6ED
The Holly Lodge Estate is an estate located on the site and grounds of a villa built in 1798 by Sir Henry Tempest on the south-facing slopes of Highgate. Green Space belonging to Camden estates welcoming some TLC from our volunteers. TCV will work at the top of the site, remove shrubs and vegetation to widen the green spaces and provide a new woodland walk bordering the cemetery.

Please aim to arrive in good time. We strongly recommend that you wear sturdy boots with a good grip and clothing adapted to outdoors work and weather conditions on the day. Please let us know in advance if it is your first time volunteering with TCV. 14-17 year olds are welcome providing they bring a parent/guardian consent form filled in advance - please contact the organiser.
