Activity description

We are required to selectively remove excess wetland vegetation from around the pond margins, access points and in the pond too. We will provide waders where necessary.

Meeting place

There will be a 9.30am minibus pick-up from the Victoria Park Car Park, off Granville Rd LE1 7RY. Please wait close to the stone lodge buildings at the London Road entrance to the car park just up from the toilet block. Further info

Those wishing to make their own way to this site please take the Mawsley Rd off the A43 then take the first right into Broughton Rd and travel along until the traffic island, the pond is situated in the centre of the traffice island NN14 1GE. Please park your vehicles close by to the site. We aim to arrive and assemble at the site by 10.15am.
