An activity with Richmond Weekday Projects
Activity date: Thursday 5th December 2024
Start time: 10:00
Finish time: 16:00
We will be spending a total of 4 days cleaning up rubbish from the Duke of Northumberland River in Isleworth. We will need people that are confident to work with waders in the water, as well a people staying on the bank to deal with the bags of rubbish collected or helping to pull out bigger items. There is also plenty of rubbish to collect along the margins of the footpath in flat and easy terrain. We have a selection of waders available, but most of them are bigger sizes (7 and upwards). So if you are like me and you have smaller feet, you will need a few extra socks to work in these waders.
We meet at the corner of Octavia Road, close to the bridge at the top of Riverside Walk (across the river from the mini roundabout).
