Activity description

Coppicing a Hawthorn and Blackthorn compartment on Woodcock Down. This task is performed on rotation from one year to the next to maintain a mosaic of woodland habitats. New volunteers always welcome, please enquire via email.

Meeting place

10am Britannia car park for pick up or 10.10am at the visitors centre. Alternatively, park on Broadlands and walk up the path to the boardwalk at W3W///gangs.swan.race
