Activity description
We will be working within Ham Lands, in collaboration with Friends of Ham Lands and LBRuT, to manage the woodland, scrub and glades. Tasks may include: - Bramble clearance - Felling of invasive saplings - Haloing around veteran and fruit trees - Removing tree suckers encroaching on pathways - Bramble clearance
Meeting place
Meet at on Riverside Drive where it meets Breamwater Gardens (next just south of the Thames Young Mariners drvieway). Look for the TCV van. From there, we will head to the session site. What3words: ///curl.sands.cared

Site description
Ham Lands is a Local Nature Reserve and a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation. The site has a rich mix of habitats, mainly grassland, scrub, woodland and is sensitively managed by Richmond Council with the support of Friends of Ham Lands.

We provide hot drinks, so please bring your own mug (and spoon). Booking on Eventbrite is required. Please DO NOT attend our sessions if you have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 5 days.
