Activity date: Saturday 15th February 2025
Start time: 10:00
Finish time: 13:00
Do you enjoy getting outdoors whatever the weather? Are you young (13-18yrs old) and want to make a difference at your local green space? Then the Green Youth Ranger sessions could be what you are looking for. This monthly volunteer opportunity is aimed at young people who want to connect with nature and look after their local green space. Sessions last for half a day (10am-1pm) and take place at Kiveton Community Woodland. No previous experience required, just the willingness to try new things and join in. Activities vary from session to session depending on the season. You'll get the opportunity to try activities from practical habitat management, wellbeing in nature, and species monitoring.
A member of the TCV team will meet the volunteer group at Kiveton Community Woodland entrance off Colliery Road.
