
An activity with TCV Leicester Volunteers

Working alongside the Mountsorrel (Tarmac) Environmental Restoration Team, this late March task will focus on selective tree guard removal of establishing native mixed species plantations.
There will be a 9.30 am minibus pick up from the Victoria Park Car Park, if you require a seat on the minibus please confirm beforehand by contacting the project lead on 07764 655482 or c.forty@tcv.org.uk thank you. Volunteers will wait close to the stone lodge buildings just up from the toilet block. Alternatively please meet with us at our Evington office LE5 6DE for 9am if this is easier. There is free vehicle parking in the public Evington Park Car Park.

Those wishing to make their own way to the site, please wait at the main quarry reception area, parking is available at the main entrance off Wood Lane LE12 8GE. Please make sure to sign in at the main reception building, we will all meet here and will be met by the Quarry Development Manager for a H & S induction if required. Please remember to bring your TCV branded waistcoats and safety hats where you have them. We will provide PPE where necessary.
