An activity with Richmond Weekday Projects
Activity date: Wednesday 23rd April 2025
Start time: 10:00
Finish time: 16:00
We will be working in collaboration with the horses from Oakwood Clydesdales to cut and rake the meadow at Oak Avenue Nature Reserve. The meadows are managed for biodiversity by LBRuT. The hay cut and rake is an important step in meadow management as it helps to maintain low soil fertility, suppresses vigorous grass growth, and helps spread wildflowers.
Meet at the Oak Avenue Nature Reserve entrance located on Oak Avenue, Hampton, at 10am. Look for the TCV van. What3words meeting point:///exchanges.lasted.boats
