Activity description

Cutting the sward and raking off the arisings to be composted. Timber compost bays to be built. Cutting back encroaching scrub. Scarification and/or harrowing of ground in preparation for hand seeding and planting of wildflowers.

Meeting place

Pickup in the minibus at 9:30 am from William Brown St in Liverpool City Centre. Alternatively, meet at Capenhurst station at 10:20am (please be advised - not all trains on the Liverpool to Chester line stop at Capenhurst!)

Site description

Grassland and scrub on National Grid land. This areas to be managed are outside the enclosed areas of the substation.
