This course runs on Tuesdays for 5 weeks from 3rd June to 1st July 2025 from 10.00am to 13.30pm This course is specifically for those who would like to support positive wellbeing through learning new skills in nature. The course is aimed at people who are wanting to improve their health and wellbeing. On this course you will learn about: Foraging for materials; Identifying plants and trees; Weaving; Whittling; Creating items from natural materials; Different relaxation and mindfulness techniques This course is FREE if you are in receipt of certain income related benefits; work full-time (37hrs a week) and earn below £25,000 or part-time and earn less than £13.05 per hour; It is £26.25 for those in receipt of state pension. Otherwise contact us for course fees. Evidence of identity and benefits, pension, or salary must be provided before the course starts. Hollybush Conservation Centre is a large former farmhouse by the canal in Kirkstall. Volunteers meet here on a daily basis to work on various environmental projects on and off site. It was previously a rhubarb farm.
