Start time: 10:00
Finish time: 16:00

Activity description

We will be working in Little Park to restore and protect the wetland ditches, maintaining water vole habitat for the population released on site. Himalayan balsam is an invasive species that thrives along waterways, creating dense stands in spring and summer, and shades our other marginal or riverside species. Removal is often done in spring and early summer, before the seed heads are able to form. Brittany is away on leave, this session will be covered by her lovely colleague Karen.

Meeting place

We will meet in the overflow carpark of South West Middlesex Crematorium. Look out for the TCV van. What3words meeting point:///spill.fired.corn What3words site location (for those coming later than 10am): ///hogs.spins.lobby
