Activity description

Join in and learn how to use knives, saws, hatchets and much more to make things out of wood. No whittling experience needed, we can work with whatever level you are at. Your first session you will go home with a lovely whittled mushroom! We whittle anything we imagine, from spoons, deer and mushrooms to the Loch Ness monster.

Site description

Hollybush Conservation Centre is a large former farmhouse by the canal in Kirkstall. Volunteers meet here on a daily basis to work on various environmental projects on and off site. It was previously a rhubarb farm.

There might be a fire in the colder months, and we will be under shelter, but please wear suitable clothing for being outdoors. There will be food and refreshments provided.
