An activity with Leicester Food Growing
Activity date: Monday 21st July 2025
Start time: 10:30
Finish time: 12:30
Come and join this friendly regular group, which meets weekly to do gardening at the beautiful Abbey Pumping Station. Our group grows it's own vegetables on our allotment (plenty of raised beds for those with mobility issues) and also flowers for the on site sensory "Forget-Me-Not Garden". Tea, biscuits and your chosen level of social interaction are part of our regular time each week :)
Meet in the "cafe area" of the museum - this is accessed via a ramp from the south side of the building (facing the Space Centre). Alternative access is available via steps to the north side of the building.
