An activity with Hollybush Food Growing Green Gym
Activity date: Wednesday 30th July 2025
Start time: 10:00
Finish time: 12:00
This session looks after the food growing areas at Hollybush Conservation Centre in Kirkstall, Leeds. The group helps to look after the accessible community Hub at Hollybush. The sessions have a range of activities each week, and aim to offer an opportunity for everyone to get involved. There is no growing experience needed, with group leaders supporting the group in a variety of organic growing techniques using raised beds, ground level beds, orchards and in a paved polytunnel. If you have any questions about the accessibility of the session, please get in touch. Work is carried out in small groups across the site, with the session planned to accommodate access needs.
Please contact hollybush@tcv.org.uk or 0113 274 2335 to arrange to meet one of the team before attending your first session. We meet in the Hollybush Roundhouse for session introduction. There are toilets, indoor facilities and seating available on site throughout the session.
