Activity description

As part of the glade management at Highwoods Country Park, we will be pulling out the bracken, which has taken over the understory. Free refreshments of drinks and biscuits are provided to help fuel you!

Meeting place

Meeting at the visitor centre for 10.30am. If you would like a lift from Britannia car park, please contact Michael as we have limited seating capacity. The pick up will be at 10am.

High Woods Country Park is one of Colchester's beauty spots. The park provides habitats for thousands of different birds and mammals, including woodland, a lake, wildflower meadows, marshes, hayfields, scrubland, and open spaces.
