Activity description

Join us to help keep this lovely village pond in tip top condition. Every year we spend a couple of days clearing out reeds, weeds and the odd bit of rubbish to ensure the pond stays clear and healthy. There are a range of tasks so even if you'd rather stay on the bank you can join in and help move the material that is cleared - through to donning the waders and braving the pond mud.

Meeting place

To travel on the minibus, meet at Foster Hill Road at 9.15am. To meet on site, meet by the footpath to the pond - where Gold Lane becomes Main Road - at 10am.

Places must be booked so that we know who to expect, and to ensure we have the correct sizes of waders. Transport is available from Bedford Cemetery on Foster Hill Road, meet at 9.15, or meet on site at 10am.
