Activity description
Do you enjoy getting outdoors whatever the weather and want to make a difference at your local green space? Then come along to one of our Practical Conservation Volunteer sessions that take place every 1st Saturday of the month across our 8 Community Woodland. This volunteer session will undertake a range of habitat management and access improvements task for people and nature across all the community woodlands that TCV South Yorkshire team manage. Meeting place
A member of the TCV team will meet volunteers to the entrance of site which is located at the end of The avenue, Bentley. Address - The Avenue, Bentley, Doncaster, DN5 0PX Parking is along the road

Site description
Former pit-tip restored to mixed woodland and grassland with large seasonally wet bird scrape. Woodland is 50-50 mix conifer-broadleaf

Everyone is welcome to attended, no previous experience necessary as TCV staff will guide you through the activity. Under 18 year olds will need to be accompanied by a guardian / named responsible adult
