An activity with TCV Leicester Volunteers
Activity date: Wednesday 22nd October 2025
Start time: 10:00
Finish time: 14:30
St Mary's wider woodland forms an integral part of the landscape and ecology for the area following on from new house building which has taken up some the existing land. As we move into the winter months our practical work will focus on selective woodland understorey and ride management along with maintaining access points and desire lines.
There will be a 9.30am minibus pick-up for volunteers from the Victoria Park Car Park, Granville Rd, LE1 7RY. Volunteers will wait in the area close to the council stone lodge buildings at the opposite end of the car park to the war memorial. It is advisable to reserve your seat on the minibus beforehand by calling the project officer/leaving a message on 07764655482 or email c.forty@tcv.org.uk thank you.
