Making leaf obelisks

Activity description

We'll be using hazel rods to construct some obelisks in the garden that we will fill with fallen leaves - this provides homes for wildlife over the winter and gives somewhere for the leaves to rot down, in time making leafmould for the raised beds.

Meeting place

To travel from Bedford on the minibus meet at The Cemetery Gatehouse, Foster Hill Road, Bedford MK41 7TD at 10am. To meet on site, meet at the garden area - contact us for the exact spot.
