10:30 AM to 11:30 AM – Family Bird Watching If you're 8 years old or older, join our morning bird watching session to discover the birds that live in our park. Our experienced rangers will show you how to use binoculars and lead you on an exploratory walk to spot our feathered friends. 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM – Family Be a Bird Challenge If you're under 8 years old, join us for an interactive bird walk where you can complete beak-tacular challenges such as 'speaking bird," and nest building. 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM – Bird Arts & Crafts Join our drop-in arts and crafts session! We’ll be making toy binoculars which you can take home and enjoy.

Around the edge of the park there is a small woodland area that is dominated by Alder trees, which thrive in waterlogged areas.

The sessions will take place both indoors and outdoors. Come prepared for the weather. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. A mystery adult/older children’s trail and children’s trails will be available in the park throughout the day. Free entry, no booking required.
